| Head of Facilities / Facilities Manager, London, to 50k. Company: Nike UK Position: Head of Facilities Salary: 40 to 50k basic Location: Central London, nearest tube is Oxford Street. ROLE: Reporting directly to the Financial Director, the position will proactively manage the UK/IRE property portfolio with robust facility management, & risk management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direction and leadership in order to manage the maintenance of all office sites, buildings, installations and equipment and on lay-out of general space, services space and work areas b) Lead the coordination of all space programming efforts, maximize the space, support the business needs and create the optimal working environment aligned within the budget parameters. c) Establish and maintain good working relationships with contractors and monitor their performance with respect to planning, quality of work and cost. d) Develop a Risk Management strategy for UK/IRE including health and safety, fire regulation, disability act & security for all employees. Make sure policies and procedures are in place, develop communication plan, P&Ps are kept current, track on progress against the plan. Make sure compliance with all internal Nike P&P as well as external regulation for risk management e) Owner of the Inventory Assets for all UK/IRE leases; fixtures, furniture, equipment, leasehold improvements. Liaise with the controlling department, communication of disposal & investment of any new equipment, ensure tagging of assets in place and aligned with the financial records. f) Ownership and management of the UK/IRE budget for all facilities related expenses KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: a) Must have an excellent facilities management background including proven experience of Health & Safety legislation (a minimum of IOSH or NEBOSH certification is required). b) Must be able to demonstrate ability to confidently handle a broad range of high level negotiations and be financial astute with proven capability to prepare and understand financial proformas. c) Must be a proven team player willing to support and contribute to the success of the team without a personal agenda. Must be flexible in attitude and motivated to get involved in all areas across the team. Must have experience and ability to work across a multi cultural team.
